Q1. What is the difference between inverter and fixed-speed (non-inverter) compressors?
A: A fixed-speed compressor runs at a constant speed and switches on and off to control temperature. This causes larger temperature fluctuations, more energy consumption and higher noise. An inverter compressor adjusts its speed continuously to match the cooling demand. It maintains a stable temperature, consumes less electricity, operates more quietly and extends the service life of the unit. Inverter models are more energy-efficient and are recommended for markets with high electricity prices or strict energy regulations.
Q3. What is the cooling capacity and what does BTU mean?
A: Cooling capacity indicates how much heat an air conditioner can remove from a room in one hour. It is usually expressed in BTU/h or Watts (W). One BTU equals about 0.293 W. As a general guide, a 7000 BTU unit is suitable for rooms around 10–16 ㎡, while a 10000–12000 BTU unit fits rooms of about 20–24 ㎡. To select the right capacity, you should also consider ceiling height, sunlight exposure, the number of windows and the number of people in the room. Choosing a slightly larger capacity gives faster cooling and longer compressor life, while an undersized unit will run continuously and never reach the desired temperature.

A: A portable air conditioner works on a complete refrigeration cycle. It draws warm indoor air through the air inlet, passes it over the cold evaporator coil where heat and moisture are removed, then discharges the hot air outside through an exhaust hose. The cooled air is blown back into the room. It requires no complicated installation — you simply place it near a window, attach the exhaust hose kit and plug it in. This makes it ideal for rental homes, garages, offices and temporary spaces where a fixed split unit cannot be installed.

A: Most of our newer models use R290 (propane), which is an environmentally friendly refrigerant with an ultra-low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of only 3. It fully complies with EU F-Gas regulations and is widely accepted in Europe, Australia and North America. We can also supply units with R134a or R410A if your market requires them. Please confirm the local refrigerant regulations and minimum charge limits for your destination country, because R290 requires special safety design due to its flammability.
Q4. What is the energy efficiency rating, and why does it matter?
A: The energy efficiency rating (such as EER, SEER or Energy Class A/B) shows how efficiently the unit converts electricity into cooling.
